the whole LFR vs Flex

MoP...the whole LFR vs Flex...what are the geared (that 10% or so) going to do? Gee whillackers Batman...let's all hunker down in Flex and tell the rest of the players to screw off, can't have our pie.

THAT'S the fiasco. Allowing Flex gave that 10% an "out". A way back to the "divine and unwashed".

Without the participation of the few, LFR falls apart. Which it's done in a most spectacular fashion.

Putting all other things aside, both you and I know that...once a core group for a guild forms, anyone who's not on it might as well go play an alt.
